Dr. Armando Rivera is a dentist with advanced postgraduate training in oral and maxillofacial surgery and international clinical experience. He provides comprehensive oral surgical care, including wisdom teeth removal, dental implant placement, treatment of jaw pathology, corrective jaw surgery, and reconstructive procedures. Additionally, Dr. Uribe Rivera specializes in caring for patients with cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial differences, helping improve both function and quality of life.

Dr. Uribe Rivera maintains active academic appointments in dental and medical education. He serves as faculty in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University, where he participates in educating oral and maxillofacial surgery residents, emphasizing cleft lip and palate surgical techniques. He also serves as faculty in the Department of Orthopedics and Plastic Surgery at the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University, where he collaborates with medical students and plastic surgery residents in craniofacial surgery within a multidisciplinary academic environment. His clinical practice is grounded in patient safety, evidence-based medicine, and transparent communication. He prioritizes collaborative relationships with referring providers and emphasizes individualized treatment planning and comprehensive patient education. He is affiliated with Premier Health Miami Valley Hospital and Dayton Children’s Hospital, where he provides surgical care according to granted privileges. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association.

Dr. Uribe Rivera is fluent in English and Spanish and values serving patients and families from diverse communities. Dr. Uribe Rivera has been married for over twenty years, is the father of three children, and enjoys sports, family activities, and community involvement outside his clinical and academic work.
