Oral and maxillofacial surgery training requires at least four additional years of hospital-based
surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. Dr. Perry completed his
surgical/anesthesia training at the Ohio State University College of Dentistry and University
Hospitals. As a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Perry manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, jaws, teeth and facial regions. Dr. Perry practices a
concentrated scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental
extractions to implant surgery and from wisdom tooth removal to periodontal plastic surgery and corrective jaw ridge surgery. His expertise also includes grafting techniques designed to rebuild bone structure in preparation for implants with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort.
Our staff is thoroughly trained and certified in assisting all intravenous (IV) sedation &/or outpatient general anesthesia surgical cases in our comfortable office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery in the same manner as that which is done in a hospital surgical setting. A pre-operative EKG and heart and lung exam (with stethoscope) are performed by Dr. Perry on all IV anesthesia cases.
The surgical staff at Dayton Oral Surgery & Implant Solutions are experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in all IV sedation/general/local anesthesia and surgery cases. All staff members are informed administrative personnel, well versed in health and insurance policies, HIPPA (patient privacy) policies and are CPR certified.
